Bridesmaid dresses are cut for one shape and worn by five. Here's how to make yours work, whatever the style the bride picked.
If the dress has cups
Use Pop inserts inside suitable built-in cups when the dress is a tight, structured top. Pop's box says no sewing is required. Pop adds fullness; it is not standalone support.
If it's strapless
A strapless bra works if the dress is structured. If it is soft, a sticky bra is another option if its fit, support and coverage work with the dress. It can still lose grip, so do not treat it as a no-slide guarantee.
If it's backless, halter or one-shoulder
Sticky bra. Nothing on the back or shoulders.
If the fabric is satin or chiffon
Choose stitch-free edges so no lines show in photos.
For the whole party
Each bridesmaid needs her own size. Send everyone the size finder, or give the kit as a bridesmaid gift.
Day-of checklist
- Start with a clean, dry chest; no lotion or oil for Pop, and no lotion, oil or perfume for Pop Up
- Follow the chosen product's placement steps, and keep makeup away from its contact area
- Arms-up check before photos
Use the directions for your chosen product
For Pop, the supplied packaging says to wipe the pads clean and let them dry. Place them inside an existing bra or tight, structured top low and to the side, thick edge down. Scoop the breast up and inward onto the pad, press firmly through the top and check symmetry.
For Pop Up, bend forward and start at the outer breast near the armpit, not the front. Push tissue inward, press down and point the clasp 45 degrees toward the belly button. Repeat on the other side, then bend forward, lift the chest, bring the cups together and close the clasp. See wearing directions and separate care directions.
