Care instructions are product-specific. This guide follows the Pop Up instruction photo and Pop packaging supplied by VELUNA. Cleaning may remove oils, but it does not guarantee that a worn or damaged adhesive will recover its grip.
How to clean Pop Up
- Hand wash only. Use cool water and mild soap. Do not use harsh detergent or scrub.
- Clean with your fingertips. Rub the adhesive side with your fingertips to lift oils. No abrasive scrubbing.
- Rinse gently and well. Rinse the soap away without harsh handling.
- Air dry. Lay it flat with the adhesive side up, or hang it. Keep it out of direct sunlight.
- Store back on the board. Once dry, return it to its board and keep it somewhere clean and dry.
These are Pop Up directions. Use cool water and the storage board specified in the supplied instructions, rather than substituting lukewarm water and cover film from a different care guide.
How to care for Pop inserts
The supplied Pop directions say to wipe the pads clean and let them dry before use. They do not specify a soap, water temperature, detailed washing protocol or removal method.
Do not assume Pop Up's washing routine applies to Pop. For detailed Pop cleaning or storage help, use the product-specific directions accompanying your pair or ask VELUNA. The packaging's QR code points to sizing, wearing and cleaning videos, but this guide does not substitute unverified video instructions.
Reuse is not a cleaning guarantee
Pop's box says "Up to 40 uses per pair." That is a packaging claim, not a minimum of 40 wears or a promise that washing restores every pair. Reuse depends on the pair's condition and use. The supplied Pop Up directions do not state a numerical lifespan.
If it still will not grip
Check the product's size, preparation and placement as well as the adhesive's condition. Lack of grip after cleaning is not enough to diagnose one cause. Do not rely on a pair that will not stay in position; contact VELUNA about care or replacement. Our 2-packs and bundles are available if you need another pair.
