You love the dress. You want the neckline to sit the way it did on the model. Start with the fit and structure of your outfit, then choose the product and placement that match it. Results depend on your body, the garment and how the product fits.
1. Check your bra fit first
A band that's too loose lets everything sit low. A snug band and cups with no gaps do half the work. If you're unsure, check your size.
2. Add adhesive push-up inserts
Pop inserts use double-sided adhesive inside an existing bra or tight, structured top. The box claims up to 2 cup sizes; results vary. Wipe the pads clean and let them dry, and use clean, dry skin without lotion or oil. Place them inside low and to the side with the thick edge down. Scoop your breast up and inward onto the pad, then press firmly through the top and check symmetry. Pop is not a standalone bra.
3. Use a sticky bra with a front clasp
For backless or strapless dresses, a sticky bra with a front clasp pulls the cups together. For Pop Up, the supplied instructions say to bend forward, place each cup at the outer breast near the armpit rather than the front, push tissue inward, press down and point the clasp 45 degrees toward the belly button. Repeat on the other side. The sheet describes greater space before clasping as giving more cleavage, not a universal result. Bend forward, lift the chest, bring the cups together and close the clasp. Start with a clean, dry chest without lotion, oil or perfume.
4. Pick the right neckline
Sweetheart, plunge and square necklines frame the chest. High necks do the opposite. Browse fixes by neckline.
5. Tailor the dress
If the bodice gapes, a tailor can take it in at the side seams. Pair it with inserts for the fullest look.
6. Make sure nothing shows
An insert that's too big peeks out at the edge. That's why ours come in four sizes matched to your bra size.
The point is the outfit looking the way you pictured it. Your call how far you take it.
Check the result, not a promised number
The application steps above follow the Pop and Pop Up packaging supplied by VELUNA. Check that the product is covered by your neckline and that the fit is comfortable. For the full steps, see how to wear a sticky bra. Keep the products' care routines separate; Pop Up's washing instructions do not automatically apply to Pop.
